What happened on Sunday

1. Another lot of lovely sisters visited with us today - so nice to have you with us, as well as the new Stake Relief Society presidency. Thanks for sharing a spiritual message with us all.
2. 5 Minute Music - as a group of sisters we all sang the beautiful hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" - it sounded fantastic, almost as good as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir version we heard the week before ..... ok, I'm kidding, but nevertheless it was inspiring.
3. Our lesson today was from the talk by President Monson entitled "Joy in the Journey" Chernoa's spiritual preparation showed and we were all able to share and learn from this beautiful talk that had so much for us all to learn from. Please take the time to read this talk - it will bless your life. Here's a quote from the lesson:-
"Both abundance and lack (of abundance) exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present - love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us (happiness) - the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."
4. SEE YOU AT ENRICHMENT MEETING ON THURSDAY NIGHT.
